Job Title:  Finance Administrator (FA)

 

 Prince Frederick

The Financial Administrator oversees daily operations of the finance department & supervision of staff.  The essential duties and responsibilities include: Posting to general ledger, spreadsheet & report analysis, overseeing cash receipts, AP/AR and Revenues, participant benefits and meeting all deadlines.

 

This position requires two years of progressively responsible accounting and two years of supervision.  An Associates Degree or equivalent with a major in accounting from an accredited college or university is required.  Working knowledge of contemporary principles and practices of GAAP, IRS regulations,  demonstrated knowledge of grants and grant payment funding, advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access.

Senior Employment Team Specialist:

Based out of Calvert Count

JOB PURPOSE

An SETS provides onsite instruction, support and encouragement to people with developmental or intellectual disabilities.  Generally, the ETS works as a member of a team with the following objectives:

·         Person-centered planning and individualized implementation of goals for individuals receiving supports from the team

·         Job development

·         Locates and follows through on volunteer, recreational and business opportunities

·         Provides transportation to and from employment, volunteer and recreational sites.

·         Deals with crisis situations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

·         Graduation from accredited high school or GED.

·         2 years of competitive employment.

·         Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

·         Demonstrated knowledge about the formal and informal supports available in his or her community to assist people receiving supports to identify and access these supports.

Service  Assistant - ISS
Calvert & St. Mary's Counties
Part Time

Be a campanion to an indiviual with disabilities. Work one-on-one with people. Spend time out in the community by going to sporting events, going out to eat, shooping, going to the movies. Hours are varied and flexible.


Residential Services - Services Assistants
Calvert (PT only), Charles (PT only), St. Mary's Counties (FT & PT)

Help teach people with developmental disabilities household, communication and daily living skills, enabling them to live more independently. Duties include assisting people in their homes and in the community. Many of the full time positions include split-shifts.


Volunteers
Calvert, Charles & St. Mary's Counties
We are always in need of people who want to volunteer their time and skills with us. Give something back to the community. Students: This is a great community-service time. Give an hour or more a week; it's up to you.


Respite Care Workers
Calvert & Charles Counties
Part Time
Provide assistance to families and individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties may include participating in community and recreational activities and assisting with daily living skills.


Positions typically require a H.S. Diploma or equivalency, further education OR related personal/professional experience. Many require a valid driver's license and the use of a personal vehicle.
