Tips on Searching the Database

The Navigator has four ways you can find what you need:

1. If you are looking for a specific product, service or agency, search our services and products databases. Use the tips below to make your search easier.
   
2. If you are looking for information and educational resources available at The Arc, check our library.
   
3. Have a question about disability, eligibility or rights, check our Frequently-Asked Questions, Know My Rights or Eligibility links.
   
4. Can’t find the answer or just need to talk to someone, send us an email or call us at 410-535-2413.

Tips on Searching The Database

• To find a listing for a particular agency, program, topic or condition, type your request in the "Keyword" box, then click "Search".
  
  • Example: Keyword: counseling
    
• Select resources by a particular category. Just scroll through the list and click on the category of your choice. You will get a list of all resources related to that topic.
  
  • Example: To find information on transitional programs, go the list of categories and click on Education.
