The Arc of Southern Maryland guarantees a return on your investment! Your contribution whether time, talent or treasure will make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities in the many ways including getting an education in their community school, securing a rewarding job, enjoying social and recreational opportunities.

Your gift can change minds & lives! Last year, donations make possible purchases of special communications and mobility equipment, training videos and games, life skills materials, workshops for family members, fun (and learning) events for kids, job transportation and many other supports and services for more than 2,000 residents of St. Mary's, Charles and Calvert Counties.

Please partner with The Arc of Southern Maryland to continue and enhance services to support the needs of individuals, and their families, with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In-Kind Gifts – In kind donations of new or almost new items can be collected at one of our 3 locations throughout Southern Maryland.

Sponsorship Opportunities -The Arc of Southern Maryland invites businesses and organizations to support the various programs, events and activities through sponsorship.  Sponsorships packages can be customized to provide sponsors with visual marketing opportunities. For additional information about sponsorship packages contact the Development Office, Ext. 113.

Planned Giving Options

Bequest – A percentage of your estate can be bequeathed to The Arc of Southern Maryland

Stocks and Securities – The liquidation and transfer of proceeds from a publicly traded stocks or bonds can be donated directly to The Arc of Southern Maryland.

Real Estate & Assets –The deed and/or title of any real estate or asset can be transferred to the Arc of Southern Maryland. Prior to transfer of assets an appraisal, paid by the donor, has to be reviewed by The Arc of Southern Maryland Board of Directors.

Life Insurance - The Arc of Southern Maryland can be named as the beneficiary to a life insurance policy.  A copy of the policy can be forwarded to the above mailing address.

The planned giving options listed above can support the continued services provided by The Arc of Southern Maryland.  Please consult your financial advisor or tax attorney to determine your best options.
